David G Is Getting His GED

I figured that I'd let you guys in on my personal life a little bit.. Why not? You're cool as fuck to me, so I'll be cool as fuck right back.

But yeah...

You read it right. I'm no longer gonna sit on my ass, knowing I dropped out solely just to get my GED and "graduate" as soon as possible, because that was well over a year ago. I'll be giving it a shot sometime next week, and there's multiple parts, so wish me luck! I was taking classes for it, mostly for math only, but we'll just have to see if my brain really did soak in everything that the classes taught me. Haha... This is actually really funny to me, because I never saw myself dropping out and getting a GED to focus on rap music 100%. I was always the smart kid, but that's what drugs do to you over time. Don't do drugs kids, haha.

But if you must, BUST THE FUCK OUT!

Infectious Culture - FINISHED

Damn right, I've finished Infectious Culture and I promise all of you, it's gonna be OFF THE FUCKING HOOK! It'll be the best $7 you'll spend for a very long time, make no mistake about this. I've been putting in a LOT of work for it, on top of living your average teenage lifestyle. It gets complicated, but I do my best to stay on top of everything and keep an optimistic attitude.

You guys have been cool as fuck, and very patient, so I'm relieved to finally be releasing a new product for you to eat up. So, stay tuned, it's dropping this month - Look for it on iTunes when I give the word!!!

Infectious Culture - The Mixtape

Remember my other blog, where I was talking about coming out with another mixtape while I work on my EP/LP? Yeah, well - This is what it's come down to... Infectious Culture will be my FIRST sold mixtape, and you can get your digital download for as little as $7 - Complete with 20 new HOT ASS tracks for your listening pleasure!!! I've given you two bad-ass mixtapes that easily could've been albums over the past year, for FREE! So I don't think this is asking too much. It's time to make my dough!!! The cost of living is not cheap - I put in blood, sweat and tears into my music to make sure you all enjoy my material... And I'll be working TWICE as hard on this - So look out for it!!!! I'll throw up a release date soon enough.

Spreading The iLLNESS!

Alright.... I know a lot of you have been asking for explicit detail on what I've been doing with my life, as far as music goes, and especially as far as updates on the LP go - "The Cerebral Complex" - Well... That won't be out until October of 2009, so there isn't TOO much that can be said.... But I'll go ahead and start off - You may be in for a long read.

Alright... As you may or may not know, I recently dropped Tides Of War: Volume Two - Exclusively on SpreadTheiLLNESS.com - But I'd like you all to know that you can still stream it on my STI profile, before you have to download it. So, I hope you all enjoy that!

Okay, now as far as my next plans... I know that I told you the Wisdom Teeth: Volume One mixtape was coming next, but it's not - In fact, I've decided to use that name for something else that I have in mind, but more on that will be discussed, further into this bulletin. So instead, I'll be thinking of a new name for that mixtape while I work on the songs that will be posted on it... However, I will not be uploading many of the tracks from it at all, because I want you all to be able to enjoy a variety of brand new songs (anywhere from 18-20 totally new).

So as I'm working on said mixtape, I'll also continue to work on The Cerebral Complex with Life And Death Productions, which will be due out Halloween of 2009, as I have stated above. We're working very very hard on it for all of you, along with a few other very sick producers like 2 DEEP and SLANTIZE!!! But listen, I seriously appreciate those of you that have stuck around for so long. A lot of you fell of the map, as far as staying loyal to me goes, but to those of you that have remained supportive... Thank You!! I love you all, for real... I'd be nothing without your love and support, so let's make some big shit happen!!!!

Now, the release date may seem like it's very far away, but I'll be sure to keep you guys content with some new material in between. For example, before the release of my LP - I'll be devising a 6-track EP - The Wisdom Teeth EP - complete with brand new material, some of my sickest!!! It'll also include a snippet from a banger off The Cerebral Complex, but not the full song!!! Sorry, you'll have to buy the album, hahahaha. They'll be fully pressed and extremely limited - 250 units total. So cop em while you can, because I'll doing a lot more than just selling them online... They'll go fast!!!!

Also, as soon as those units are moved... That's when we start preparing for the BIG release!!! You'll be able to pre-order your copy of The Cerebral Complex, for a cheaper price than you'd pay from purchasing it after the release, and every single person that pre-orders the album will get a pressed single CD - Complete with the LP single, the beat and the acapella for you to do whatever you'd like with!!! So, I know a lot of you will enjoy that, and it gives you other rappers a chance to fuck with my boy's beat!!! He's SICK, lemme tell you that right now, what we're cooking up is something that you're not even ready for!!!!

As far as everything else goes - I'll be throwing up a brand new DIV layout, based around The Cerebral Complex - Which will eventually be complete with, in time, ringtones / purchase links / pre-order links / song snippets, etc.
